Luakaha Falls in Nu'uanu

Fragrant blossoms of yellow ginger overlook the cascading waters of Luakaha Falls in Nu’uanu.  Because of its refreshing waters and cool breezes, Luakaha was reserved for the chiefs of old O’ahu.  An old heiau and the ruins of Kaniakapupu, the home of Kamehameha III, still stands in Luakaha.
